21 June 2007, Well, I haven't been updating like I should be. Most of you understand, and I appreciate that. So far the one thing I am not ready for is grocery shopping. I enter the store and am like a kid in a candy shop. Can I have that? What about this? Way to many choices for me at the moment. Everything else is going really well. Miss Dub is at camp this week so Mrs. Dub and I have been having a couple of date nights. hehe.
Being back home has been wonderful. The weather is certainly unusual for this time of year in Oklahoma and it's amazing how parts of the country are in floods and other parts are in droughts. We need to spread this out.
My dial up connection at home is certainly an issue for me. I have tried to read several of my regular blogs but can't get the comment section to work for me. I'm looking at some options that will hopefully pan out soon.
Well, be safe and have a great day.

glad you are back dub! missed your daily read. i read somewhere that at&t has some deal for new users at ten dollars a month. i already have them in florida so i can't get it and here in georgia there is no at&t, only alltel, so can't get it here either, but it sounded good.

have fun my friend!

Now, don't be messing up all the weight loss hard work by going nuts in the grocery store, Dub.

Well, even if you can't comment, many of us know you've been visiting when we see your face on our MyBlogLog widget. You'll comment when you can.

Have a great week "dating" - enjoy the freedom of being HOME!

Like Bee I use AT&T for my DSL. I have used DSL for years. It costs me about $30.00 a month on my phone bill.

I know what you mean about the grocery store and I haven't been overseas! Too many good choices to make!

This has been a wonderful week! I've really enjoyed having you all to myself. It appears MissDub is having so much fun at camp that she's forgotten about us. Coming back to work was hard, but it was awesome coming home and finding you waiting for me (big smile)! I'm glad that after 16 years, we can still have fun just being together!!!! ILUVU!

Glad to hear from you. Just don't spend too much money in the grocery store... ;-) You'll gain all that you lost...

Aren't date nights wonderful? Tony and I have them every once in a blue moon... I love them.

Have a good week.

I am surpised you are on line at all! I figured MrsDub would be monopolizing all of your time for a few weeks.
Dial up??
Ditch the dial up. I get some spectacular speed from cable modem.

Welcome home, sir, from a Canadian who appreciates your, and your family's, service. Good to know you are able to enjoy the good things in life again...your wife...your child...shopping. God Bless.

Funny you mention the grocery store--I've often thought that walking into American stores must be quite a culture shock for the returning soldier.

Enjoy!

Hi! I'm reading a book in which a guy from India is positively amazed that our grocery stores have one whole aisle of nothing but different kinds of bread!
Enjoy getting your "sea-legs" again.
I'm just so happy you're all in one piece and home!
~~~Blessings~~~
Welcome home my friend, I know what you mean about the grocery store, we were on Okinawa for 3 years and the only salad we had was cabbage, that was a culture shock...
