02 February 2007, I'm back. Or should I say you can come back now and comment if you feel like it. Anyway, Blogger has graciously decided to allow comments again. For Odat over at Odat's mumblings, Happy Dance Friday! Many people can relate to wanting to dance on Fridays. I would have danced today, but after I was threatened with UCMJ if I was caught moving like that again, I decided against it. Mrs. Dub can tell you I was learning to western dance when we met. I can two step the basics, anything past that requires too much concentration on my part. My Afghan employees were giving me problems today, so it required me to go to the connex and yell at them. Then I told the civilian employee who oversees them and she went down and yelled at them too. She is much more effective than I am. Between the two of us, I think we got our message across, and they should behave for a couple of weeks anyway. We had a bazaar today and I actually went through it. I purchased some wooden baskets that are carved very nicely. I also picked up seasons 1-4 of the television series 24. I've seen the first season but not any of the rest. I tried watching one copy I had but it kept freezing up or switching to a previously recorded program underneath it. I had this problem with Lost earlier this deployment, and that required me to go home on leave and rent it at blockbuster. I'm sure that was what Mrs. Dub had in mind for my 15 days at home with her...watching television. Lt. M bought some fur hats at the bazaar last week. I thought maybe I should share some pictures with you.
Remember me at
Christmas
time wearing
the white
feathered boa?

Earlier this week, see the how even in the midst of work, I can look so dashing.

Remember the guards at the castle of the Wicked Witch from Wizard of Oz?
Lt M and Maj M showing off a little too.

Well, be safe and have a good day. Remember, dance if you want to.

Greetings from the great state of Oklahoma. It was 12 windchill here today. This winters is much worse than the last 3 or 4. I am a former Army Reservist, I was an E-5 combat engineer out of the HHC 353rd Engineer Group in OKC. When I find military people from OK in blogs I always write and say thanks. I am goinf to school to be a professional writer, and have access to some free books. If you want me to send some, tell me how to do it and I will.
