26 February 2007, Well, the Oscars are over, when I came into the office this morning, that's what some of my guys were watching. I would have preferred Nascar showing the race in California, but it wasn't on. Although the volume was down, I saw the Ethridge lady singing her green earth song and Al Gore following her. I'm sure Al won his Oscar. I think he is completely off. I don't think we are seeing global warming but in fact another Ice Age. Yep, at least I look outside and see results. As the news was flashing pictures of white outs in Colorado I looked at the monitor and saw it was snowing here again too. I made the comment, "It's too warm to stick", guess I was wrong too.

I managed to get some sleep, of course, napping in the afternoons will ruin my sleep for the evening, so I was awake more than normal, but still managed ok. With the exception of having the crud, I felt pretty good all day, just not my jovial self. I did manage to take a picture of me, not a very good one, since pictures make it look like I'm loosing my hair, I fixed it up a bit, just enough so it looks more like me. (hehe)

For the road map to success in Iraq, I believe it's time to post (if there isn't one already) and promote a reward/bounty for Mr. Al-Sadr. Yes, with his little merry band, I'm sure it wouldn't take too long before someone turned him in.
The Milblogging site was confusing to say the least. Yes, many of you went and voted during the nomination period, and I'm very happy that I was in the top 5, thank you. For some reason, JP thought better and decided to make it just 5 Army regardless to location and I was dropped from the list, don't worry, I handle rejection very...(sniff, sniff) well. No, really, I'm ok with it. Sarge Charlie did make the cut for veterans, and at last count was in 2nd place against BlackFive. Now, BlackFive is a group of veterans and supporters who have been up and running for a couple of years now, and publish pro-military articles and opinions, so if the outcome didn't change, Sarge should be pretty proud of himself.
Well, it's time to call it quits for tonight, be safe and have a great Funday!

Hair club for men, huh dub...........I accepted that bald is beautiful a long time ago. I did have a fleeting thought about a hair piece once, then I looked a guys using them and laughed. Hair piece for me.......NOT. I must admit you are a handsome specimen of the American Warrior. Thanks for your comments about millbloggie, wait until next year............

You know I like your fuzzy little head - I think it's quite handsome in a Sean Connery kind of way. I think we must have watched the exact same part of the awards show. I was getting ready to turn the TV off and decided to switch over just to see if it made me barf. I caught the songs from DreamGirls (which was pretty good) and then they announced that Ethridge had won - I turned it off when she kissed the gal next to her on the mouth - time to barf!

You look like Scooter Libby with the hair drawn on.

Aaaaccckkkkkk... Mrs Dub reminded me of Melissa Etheridge thanking her "wife"........... I'd blocked that from my consciousness until now....

Sooooo, that's why I couldn't find a place to vote for you... thought I was just having a dumb blonde moment :)

Have a good day!

I turned on the TV at the same time, saw the end of Melissa and her Blah, Blah, Blah and when Al came on the TV went off... I just can't stand to look at the guy let alone listen...
And as for the Global Warming the MidWest and Back East will vouch for ya that Global warming is a joke!
Nascar was a good race this weekend in CA, hope you get to see it so I wont ruin it for you... It was nothing compared to last weeks Daytona, but a good race it was...
Do you ever get enough snow for a snowman over there? or just enough to make it mucky? Thanks for sharing the pictures! Stay Safe and God Bless, JustMe

Well... a few days before I left the blogosphere you were talking about wonderful Mrs Dub as a *erm* teddy... having a look at your picture... well... LOL

I´m soory for my disappearance - I´ve been a cook and waitress and whatever for our guests who stayed for a week after Luis christening during the last days. Feels good to be back =)

Have a nice and safe evening!

Sounds like a lot of us turned the TV off when Al Gore walked on. I have no use for the guy - even if he did invent the Internet (haha!). As for Global Warming, not here in Connecticut last week and the stuff I shoveled off my car before work this morning sure looked a lot like snow!

Nice new pictures - fluffy hair and all!

Been a Nascar fan since the early days of Bristol being the only night race and tickets were still 3.00, lol. (God, I am old) You didn't miss much with the race. Earnhardt and Kahne (my drivers to watch) both had probs early on. The finish was pretty cool as always. I never watch the Oscars as Hollywood Hooplah is not my thing. Have a great week!

I am still pulling for Dale Jarrett. I will not leave as his fan until he retires. I have another that I will go to but will wait until he does. I did'nt even know that Oscars were even on. I would not want to watch the waste of AMerica. Thank God our Vice President is OK. I understand he was the target. Personally, I don't care if you have hair or not. Mine is either turning gray or disappearing as well. Stay safe my friend

You didn't miss a lot during the CA Speedway race. Kenseth won, again. I went Saturday night to the Busch race and was feeling pretty bad about missing Sunday, until Kenseth won for the second straight day ;-)
